About Kimberly Peaks, Author of Flashcards for Parents

A Mother of Three's Desire to Help

Kimberly Peaks was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She relocated to Long Beach, California where she attended Long Beach State University. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business, she worked very successfully in the field of Sales for a few Fortune 500 companies.

She later married, and was soon blessed with three beautiful children. To be able to care for her children while still working, Kimberly started Peaks & Associates, a successful home business.

It is during that challenging time that she began taking notes, observing the actions of her children, and her own reactions as well. Over a period of five years, the notes slowly turned into a book, Flashcards for Parents, that she now shares with parents from Coast to Coast.

After earning a Certificate of Merit from Writer's Digest for the book, Kimberly Peaks is now helping young parents through a workshop entitled "Protecting Children's Self-Esteem."
